The FX100 is a modular professional audio analyzer designed for high precision testing in R&D, quality control, and production environments, where speed, reliability, and automation are critical. Its scalable architecture allows configuration for two or four parallel channels, speaker impedance testing and extended I/O via switcher modules.
Pass/fail decisions are made by assigning limits to measured values in the FX-Control workflow, so results can be judged automatically against defined tolerances and then logged or reported. Typical production routines use fast measurement methods such as GlideSweep, where complete relevant results are often obtained in under one second, supporting high volume test lines.
The FX100 can be expanded with a Channel Extension to move from 2-channel to 4-channel operation, plus Input Switcher and Output Switcher modules for multi-channel routing and larger test matrices. For impedance testing, dedicated speaker impedance modules are available, including higher-current and amplifier-supported variants depending on the application.
The MR PRO provides a practical set of reference signals for commissioning and troubleshooting, including sine wave, sweeps and chirps, pink and white noise, plus polarity and delay related test signals. It also supports wave file playback on the MR PRO for application specific signals, like STIPA.
MR PRO includes measurement and verification tools such as XLR cable testing, phantom power checking, and impedance measurement including impedance balance, and it can measure impedance and phase as well as apparent power for distributed speaker systems.
For STIPA, MR PRO is commonly used to inject the STIPA test signal electronically into line inputs of PA and life safety systems, while an NTi analyzer such as the XL2 measures and evaluates intelligibility. In day to day optimization, MR PRO provides stable test signals for tracing the signal chain, level setting, polarity checks, and rapid system troubleshooting together with NTi measurement instruments.
Use the XL3 or XL2 with a suitable measurement microphone and perform a quick acoustic calibration with a sound calibrator (typically 94 dB at 1 kHz) before and after the measurement session. This creates traceable results and helps catch setup or microphone issues early.
Yes. With the STIPA Option installed, the XL3 or XL2 measure speech intelligibility according to IEC 60268-16:2020 (and also support older editions), including features like ambient noise correction and automated averaging.
You can transfer XL2 measurement data to a PC and generate professional reports with NTi Data Explorer, which is designed for fast analysis of sound level data and quick creation of customized reports. It automatically includes relevant header information such as measurement date and calibration details for clean documentation.
For building acoustics workflows, you can also export and document key results for SIR (Sound Insulation Reporter) and RAR (Room Acoustics Reporter) applications – making it easy to turn XL2 measurements into standardized, client-ready deliverables.
Yes. The XL3 includes an integrated web server and file server for browser based control via Wi Fi or LAN, and measurement data can be downloaded while the measurement continues. XL3 can also be remotely used to perform Building Acoustics measurement using Sound Insulation Reporter Software.
All measurement data is saved in an open TXT format on a removable 32 GB SD card and can be downloaded via USB C. Storage can be expanded with larger SD cards or an external SSD, and an audio signal can be recorded alongside the measurement.
Yes. The XL3 is fully networked and can be operated and accessed from mobile devices via a web browser.
The XL3 typically provides up to 8 hours of battery life. Runtime depends mainly on factors like display brightness, active connectivity such as Wi Fi or LAN activity, logging and audio recording settings, and any connected peripherals.
You configure events and indicators that trigger reports and email alerts when limits are exceeded, and you can also define combined conditions to create meaningful alarms, for example a noise exceedance only when wind is below a threshold. MeasurEye also supports State of Health alerts for items like battery, power supply, GPS, and can optionally add AI noise classification to event alerts.
Measurement data is captured on site by connected devices and sensors such as the XL3 for noise levels, optional weather stations, vibration monitors, and air quality terminals. In MeasurEye you link the devices to your project, then the platform provides real time updates every second plus historical views, automatic reporting and advanced customizable alerts, with user management controlling who can access the data.
Yes, whenever the exceedance will occur and MeasurEye will create the event, you will be able to listen to what happened on site and also AI Classification will provide the information what could be major noise source during the measurement.
MeasurEye can generate periodic reports for your project. Reports are automatically delivered to your email and include measurement data and alerts based on the reporting period you choose.
